With the holiday nearing an end, it’s now time to focus on the year ahead and decide on what we want for our kids this year. I always
Each of my children are so different from what they would choose. The eldest (7) would choose everything from soccer, drums to karate or dancing. The second child (5) is more happy to hunt for worms and snails than attend an activity and I do wonder if it’s a waste of time and money to send him to drama even though I would like that for him. The youngest (3) would happily join in his any of his siblings activities and keep up too.
Because I like to keep my sanity by not running from one activity to another and have an afternoon for a playdate too, we choose 1 ‘after school’ activity, 1 ‘at school’ activity and this year the start of a weekend sports
Do you let them choose or do you just wait till ‘that thing’ takes their fancy and go with that? I am going LOOPy even thinking about it again and no doubt it will be 1 week into school when any decision is made.
