One thing I want to hold on to as long as possible is my children believing in the man in the red coat and white beard. The conversations have already started with “that’s not Santa”.
Surprisingly the hardest thing has not been them believing that he exists, it is the fact that they believe he is SO magical that he can make any present – even ones that don’t exist on the shelves.
HELP! How do I find an ‘Off roader remote control Traxxas truck with a winch and trailer carrying a boat’? The funny thing is I have looked everywhere because I love the idea of Santa getting them exactly what they wanted at the same time trying to teach them to be happy with whatever gift they get as others have nothing.
What outrageous gifts have your children requested this year? And how do you teach them appreciation?
